Every feature is open, with no account and no card. Screening for yourself or someone you care for stays free permanently, and that is not a launch offer. Everything else stays free until a proper validation study says the tool has earned the right to charge, and that study has not happened yet. Finding someone to run it is the current priority, which is why this page is organised by who you are rather than by what you would pay.
Academic and non commercial research use is free at every tier, permanently. If you are validating the tool, studying accrual, or teaching with it, there is nothing to pay and nothing to apply for. The collaboration brief says what a study would involve.

Why it is priced this way
Three rules the pricing has to obey.
A patient never pays to find a trial
Anyone reaching for this is already having a bad year. Charging them to read a public registry would be indefensible, so the patient tier has no cap and no card.
The money follows the budget
Recruitment is already a line item for every sponsor and site. They are the ones with a budget for it, so they are the ones asked to fund the free tier.
Nothing is charged per screen
Per patient pricing would give us a reason to want more screens rather than better ones. Seats and site licences keep that incentive out of the product.
Questions
What paying does and does not change.
- Does Pro send patient data anywhere?
- No. Every plan runs in your browser. A seat unlocks features that already live in the page: the CSV is built locally, the brief is a print view, and saved cohorts sit in this device's local storage. The only outbound request on any plan is the condition name going to the public registry.
- What is a licence key, exactly?
- A short code from your receipt that you paste into the tool once. It is checked in the page, so Pro works offline and we never see who is using it. It stops casual sharing. It is not copy protection, and we are not pretending otherwise.
- Is there a free trial of Pro?
- The whole screening engine is the free tier, permanently, which is a larger trial than most products offer. If you want to see the exports before paying, ask and we will send a key for a fortnight.
- Can a hospital buy several seats?
- Yes, and past four seats the site licence is cheaper. It also covers the embeddable screener and the protocol work.
- What happens if I stop paying?
- The tool keeps working. Screening, the solver and every quoted criterion stay free. You lose the exports and the saved cohorts, and any cohorts already on your device stay on your device.
- Do you take money from sponsors to rank their trials higher?
- No, and this is the one that would ruin the product. Order comes from the registry and from what the engine could decide. A sponsor licence buys tooling, never placement.
